KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and efficient shopping environment for all visitors.
  • Greets all customers entering the sales area promptly and courteously.
  • Engages with prospective buyers to assess their needs related to boating and ATV products.
  • Provides essential information to assist customers in making knowledgeable purchasing choices.
  • Stays updated on product knowledge through available resources, including brochures, online materials, and training sessions.
  • Maintains awareness of promotional items, pricing strategies, and current sales offers.
  • Adheres to ongoing training in sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Collaborates effectively with the Service Department to ensure a smooth delivery process for customers.
  • Handles sensitive customer information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Prepares the showroom daily, ensuring that signage is correct and that all products are clean and presentable.
  • Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to generate and manage leads, documenting customer interactions and follow-ups.
  • Participates in promotional events such as trade shows and community activities, completing all necessary documentation related to sales.
  • Aims to meet and exceed established monthly sales targets based on various factors including employment status and historical performance.
  • Maintains a tidy and professional workspace, complying with all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in calculating discounts and percentages.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with management, peers, and customers.
  • Competent in operating computer systems and Point of Sale (POS) registers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:

  • Works under general supervision, following established procedures while exercising independent judgment when necessary. May recommend improvements to work processes and policies.
