About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Experis. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading business and project teams in story mapping sessions, creating personas, and developing story cards and other project artifacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business and project teams in story mapping sessions to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
  • Create personas that bring focus and direction to the creation of story cards and other project artifacts.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to develop business strategies and project priorities, ensuring alignment with the product vision.
  • Document requirements in story cards and organize story cards in the backlog.
  • Balance business and technical analysis to ensure the team's success in planning both the project and individual sprints.
  • Interact with both business and technical organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist team members in providing acceptance criteria for business objectives and validate technical deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize project requirements.
  • Utilize web concepts such as HTML and CSS to develop project artifacts.
  • Function as a liaison and subject matter expert between assigned business units and IT resources, providing analytical support and facilitating research, questions, and issues.
  • Identify non-functional needs such as usability, performance, security, portability, and service levels.
  • Proactively work with all roles on the project team to provide support and ensure overall quality and success of initiatives.
  • Escalate and inform the PM and team of potential scope changes and conflicts.
  • Participate in business readiness activities.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise relative to the client's life and its products, systems, and programs, and business processes.
  • Handle additional assignments related to area of expertise and fill in for the Project Manager when required.
  • Consistently research and attend trainings to keep their skillset current with today and future needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Agile project methodologies.
  • Experience with persona development and creating persona-based scenarios.
  • Drafting wireframes and development of storyboards.
  • Capable of creating process flow diagrams.
  • Expertise in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Insurance industry expertise preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL and understanding of data flow diagrams preferred.
