Description:
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medication management and administration in conjunction with our psychiatrist.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate physical health needs.
- Make referrals to community physicians as needed.
- Provide a range of treatments, including psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Support services to the ACT team.
Requirements:
- Master's, B.A., or associate degree in nursing (LNAs will be considered).
- NH licensed as a registered nurse.
- At least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting (preferred).
- Strong commitment to the rights and ability of each person with severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences.
- Skills and competence to establish trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license in the state in which the team operates.
