This is a full-time role that includes weekdays, weekends, and alternating overnights with teammates. SOAR365 is seeking a reliable individual to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with coordination or staff and participant involvement in day-to-day program activities. Your people skills will help maintain professional relationships with fellow team members and those we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers purposeful age-appropriate activities and supports for participants.
  • Implements activities related to developing participant social interaction skills, personal hygiene training, motor skill coordination, and other activities.
  • Provides participants with personal care/hygiene support as needed.
  • Provides direct training, supervision, and support to participants during all activities when assigned staff is absent or needs additional assistance.
  • Encourages active participation of participants in daily routines and activities through coaching and positive behavioral support.
  • Accompanies assigned participants on group activities/outings and provides transportation as required.
  • Completes all documentation for assigned consumers in a timely manner.
  • Identifies program problem areas and recommends solutions to program Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School / GED graduation required.
  • One year of experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.
  • Medication Administration certified or will obtain within 60 days of starting date and maintains certification throughout employment.
  • The DSP employment for the Respite program is a hybrid role, rotating weekday and weekend shifts - and overnight shifts as needed.

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
