We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Rooms Manager to lead our housekeeping team at Arbor Lodging's Hotel Indigo Nashville @ the Countrypolitan. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping and laundry functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants, house attendants, public area cleaners, and floor supervisors to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations.
  • Manage and direct the preparation of work assignments, room assignments, and floor keys to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with hotel standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with front office and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Schedule and oversee the cleaning of room carpets, upholstery, and draperies, as well as deep cleaning projects and window cleanings.
  • Lead the housekeeping team in training, coaching, and counseling to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure guest rooms are properly secured and that proper key control procedures are utilized by the housekeeping staff.
  • Advise the front desk of rooms ready for occupancy and ensure accurate room status reporting.
Requirements
  • 2- or 4-year college degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in housekeeping or rooms management, with supervisory experience in hospitality and hotels.
  • Detail-oriented and able to effectively lead and train a team.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year plus bonus potential.
