Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammographic Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist in mammography procedures for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Work independently under general supervision, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography Coordinator, and Physician Director of Mammography to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an RT(R).
  • ARRT certification in Mammography and a valid Maine License in Radiologic Technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
