Job Summary

This is a specialized clinical role that involves performing and assisting in mammography procedures to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist in mammography procedures under general supervision.
  • Work independently and adhere to established procedures and protocols.
  • Review and discuss results with the Manager of Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography Coordinator, and Physician Director of Mammography.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Radiology Department to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an RT(R) with training requirements for MQSA and ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • Knowledge and experience in routine radiologic imaging.
  • ARRT certification and a valid Maine License in Radiologic Technology.
  • BLS certification.
