PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains the integrity and accuracy of the Cage department, including daily reconciliations and timely reporting of significant variances.
  • Manages daily cash reserves and coordinates bank orders as required.
  • Oversees inventory management and processes deposits of surplus currency. Confirms daily bank deposits.
  • Assists with closing procedures and reconciliations at the end of shifts.
  • Inputs data into the CMS, ensuring accuracy across all accounts.
  • Upholds confidentiality regarding all matters related to guests, team members, and business operations.
  • Guides and instructs assigned personnel in their job functions.
  • Acts as a role model for all employees consistently.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, with a minimum of one to two years in a casino cage or a related field.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to lead and develop a team, along with a professional demeanor, is required. Candidates must demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and understand the standards necessary for a regulated environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods (minimum of four hours).
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency in task execution and meeting deadlines.
  • Must navigate throughout all areas of the casino, including stairs (minimum of 20 steps) or escalators.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, or pushing a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects, and have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must tolerate environments with secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
