Job Summary

bioMerieux is seeking a highly skilled Lab Technician to join our team in the Production Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the timely preparation, delivery, and set-up of quality chemical media to Card Production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work in the Production Department in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and document complex manufacturing steps and verification as described in company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure media and sub-component preparation is completed with high accuracy and in a timely manner for prompt product delivery.
  • Verify that all media is appropriately labeled, manufactured, and stored based on regulatory and Master Formulary specifications.
  • Operate equipment, including steam kettles and Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist with end-of-lot documentation review and Device History Record maintenance.
  • Report scheduling or availability issues and remain flexible in response to abrupt changes.
  • Inspect and ensure all equipment is calibrated and in working order before performing any manufacturing task.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, or Associates degree with 2+ years of wet chemistry and/or bench work experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of one year of wet chemistry and/or bench work experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and laboratory skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a complex environment with multiple demands.
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office and SAP.
