Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assess patient care, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and evaluating staff development to maintain unit or program standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians to execute medical plans of care and provide direct patient care according to unit/program needs.
  • Oversee staff, ensuring adequate patient care, including hiring, onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Establish care plans, administer medication, check dosages, and ensure compliance with policies and financial stewardship.
  • Teach patients and families how to manage illnesses or injuries, explain post-treatment and home care needs, and promote a healthy work environment.
  • Facilitate inter/intra departmental collaboration, communication, and problem-solving, and participate in policy revisions and committees.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
  • Legally licensed to work as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
  • Nursing - RN - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure State Licensure Required.
  • Clinical Other - BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Healthcare Provider Training Course Required.
