Job Overview

This position requires three days onsite, with Mondays being required at our Linthicum location, and two days of remote work. It will support our Central Region and involve local travel between Linthicum and Baltimore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the corporate compliance program, increasing conformance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. This includes the University of Maryland Medical System's compliance with Federal health care programs such as Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Anti-kickback / Stark, Medicare billing, and clinical research.

The role involves providing guidance to departmental representatives with development of policies specific to their departmental needs. The candidate will also draft compliance policies and procedures, develop monitoring and auditing tools, and provide summary reports to promote compliance and privacy.
