Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough facility audits, documenting all issues found at the facility, and develop effective solutions to address them.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, lighting fixtures, and general building repairs, to minimize downtime and optimize functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with contractors and external service providers as needed for specialized repairs or installations, and negotiate pricing and quotes with outside vendors.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance procedures and policies to improve efficiency and safety, and maintain accurate work order systems.
  • Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Implement workplace safety policies and standards, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations related to safety and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D
  • Facility Maintenance Experience/4 years multiple industry trades
  • Associate degree Preferred
  • Ability to work at heights, operate heavy machinery, and withstand exposure to change in temperature, dust, vehicle fumes, gases, and chemicals.

Working Conditions

  • Working at heights; ladder and lifts.
  • Operating heavy machinery; scissor lift and forklift.
  • Exposure to change in temperature; working in various weather conditions.
  • Exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, gases, chemicals, etc.
