Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at North Texas Therapy & Home Care. As a SLPA, you will play a vital role in providing individualized speech therapy services to pediatric patients in their homes or daytime facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Conduct weekly supervision visits with the supervising SLP, ensuring adherence to Texas board guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining professional networks.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the speech therapy department by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas SLPA licensure.
  • At least 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
  • Prior experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Home health experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
