Job Description

Job Title: Support Specialist - District Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Specialist to join our team at Georgetown Independent School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to our district operations team, ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the district operations team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and filing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support the development and implementation of district policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of district activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the district operations team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines to meet.
