Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our skilled resident dining areas, including training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with all local, state, federal, and facility rules and regulations.
  • Establish inventory par levels necessary to meet operational needs, including silverware, dishes, linens, office supplies, and uniforms.
  • Assist in developing, planning, and supervising special functions, and provide feedback regarding resident preferences.
  • Plan or assist in coordinating special events and ensure that fees for services are charged to appropriate departments/users of the facility.
  • Assist in monitoring programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and recommending strategies/tactics to ensure the highest quality in resident dining services, nutrition, and meal preparation.
Requirements
  • An associate's degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous supervisory experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in fine dining and experience in a continuous care retirement community, hospital, or similar facility is preferred.
  • Must possess a customer service background and orientation.
