Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed SLPs, encompassing speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and education on communication disorders.
  • Monitor student progress, document treatment outcomes, and report findings to licensed SLPs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid and active state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Preferred previous experience working as an SLPA or in a related role.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
