Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including administering anesthesia and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including surgical logs and patient charts.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
- Or, provides evidence of the successful completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the United States Military.
- 6 to 12 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology or relevant military experience.
