Primary Function: Under the guidance of the Senior Inspection Manager, the Construction Project Supervisor will oversee the coordination of ongoing construction initiatives for designated clients.

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in the Fort Myers, Florida area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Residential Services Coordination: Upon receipt of a General Sales Agreement (GSA) from a partner or representative, engage with prospective customers to establish installation timelines and meter placements. Relay meter locations and images to the Gas Design Technician (GDT). After service installation, confirm meter specifications and arrange activation.
  • Residential Project Management: Access the Builders Website to compile a list of homes scheduled for construction within a specific month, and complete survey forms for the TMD Creator to generate premises for those addresses. Regularly gather data from various subdivisions to schedule services and/or meter installations. Prepare job folders and distribute them to contractors or coordinate meter installations with the Work Coordinator.
  • Commercial Services Coordination: Following the receipt of a GSA or inquiry from a partner/representative, assess gas availability and meet with prospective customers to finalize installation dates and meter placements. Determine service size requirements. Once the Engineering team provides the job folder, assign it to the contractor and update project management tracking. After service installation, confirm meter specifications and arrange activation. Communicate the activation process to the customer, update Project Management Tracking on SharePoint, verify job completion, and ensure satisfactory restoration before signing off on the invoice.
  • Work Order Management: As services or mains are completed, input all relevant information into work order systems. Scan documentation for GIS input and ensure the Corrosion Technician is informed of services or mains for record updates. Upload GPS data and as-built documentation to the GIS SharePoint Site, addressing any information gaps.
  • Cut & Caps Management: Review the weekly list of services scheduled for cut and caps. Visit locations to confirm the presence of risers and document their locations. Communicate findings to Engineering for permitting and job folder creation. Monitor completion of tasks to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and regular construction updates.
  • Address customer complaints and conflicts related to service line installations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • In-depth understanding of the natural gas sector, particularly in relation to CFR 49 Part 192 from a construction and inspection perspective.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and word-processing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong persuasive and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to quickly establish credibility and relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Competence in compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the natural gas industry is preferred.
  • Experience with polyethylene piping, fusion techniques, and as-built documentation is preferred.
  • Hands-on construction experience is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
