- Product Knowledge: Maintain robust knowledge of services offered by the credit union to educate members and actively make recommendations to members for their benefit.
- Confidentiality: Maintain privacy and confidentiality of members' information.
- Cash Handling: Complete routine cash and check transactions, including cashing and depositing checks, transferring money between members' accounts, and completing deposits and withdrawals of cash.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on applicable policies and procedures, and rules and regulations to meet compliance standards.
- Teamwork: Work cohesively in a fast-paced team environment to achieve common goals.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to utilize various computer systems, attention to detail, and previous customer service and cash handling experience (preferred).
This position requires standing for long periods of time and working primarily at a workstation or desk in an open office environment. Daily tasks include extensive use of a computer performing standard keyboard functions, requiring repeated motion. Stretching breaks are recommended to avoid injury. Some light lifting. Occasional lifting/carrying of bags of coin up to 50 lbs.
