About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Engineer to join our team at Amazon Devices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting analytical data infrastructure using AWS technologies.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of business operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, software development engineers, and scientist colleagues to design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions for never-before-solved problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust and scalable data integration pipelines using SQL and AWS data storage technologies like Aurora and RedShift.
  • Build analytics applications using modern scripting languages (Python, R, PHP, etc.) to support critical business functions.
  • Gather business and functional requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture.
  • Lead the architecture design and implementation of next-generation BI solutions.
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service modeling and production support for customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and its applications in data engineering.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $118,900/year to $205,600/year, depending on your location. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
