About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at HOK. As a key member of our landscape architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and managing projects that connect people to each other and to the natural world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage landscape architecture projects, providing guidance on technical development and approval processes.
  • Develop, modify, and review drawings for landscape architecture projects.
  • Contribute to Firmwide design excellence and problem-solving, demonstrating creative thinking abilities.
  • Incorporate sustainable and urban design, mobility, ecology, and infrastructure solutions into projects.
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with diverse clients and public officials.
  • Assure HOK document standards are met and archive documents appropriately.
  • Assist in preparation of proposals and participate in client interviews.
  • Understand intra-company agreements, contracts, and deliverables, and assure HOK standards for project management are met.
  • Mentor staff and proactively engage and provide opportunities for development.
  • Actively promote a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Foster a commitment to external and internal client service.
  • Assist with HOK marketing efforts and public presentations.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and MS Office.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, V-Ray, Sketchup, GIS, Ecotect, Enscape, Lumion, and Grasshopper.
  • Proficiency in BIM, Revit preferred.
  • Proficiency in NewForma and Deltek preferred.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or architecture, plus 10+ years' experience.
  • Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design preferred.
  • Registration with current license preferred.
  • LEED credential required within 6 months of employment.
