Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Senior Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient clinical information from requesting physicians and/or services prior to performing exams.
  • Prepare patients for imaging and ensure the room and equipment are properly set up.
  • Demonstrate self-critique of exams, recognizing sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions.
  • Meet physical requirements to perform diagnostic sonography studies in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Maintain RDMS credential(s) according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal accredited ultrasound training program.
  • Must have flexibility in scheduling and ability to rotate shifts and cover weekends and holidays.
  • Requires ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties at minimum.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support.
  • Requires (2-5) years experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent experience in a similar Ultrasound department.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
