Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality images to physicians and other healthcare providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
Key Responsibilities- Follows clearly defined diagnostic sonography procedures to deliver high-quality images.
- Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer eligible.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
- General knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, procedures, and views.
- Capable of performing routine sonographic examinations.
- Possess solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week. The job shift is days, and the schedule includes working on Fridays, Mondays, Thursdays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
