About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Adams County Regional Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and directing treatment for patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed units.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical disabilities and develop treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Conduct physical therapy sessions to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion.
  • Use a variety of techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and education, to help patients manage their pain and improve their overall function.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited College or School of Physical Therapy.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Must be licensed, or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Ohio.
  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity.
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or a Blood Titer proving immunity.
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination).
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th.
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required).
