Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative tasks: Develop and maintain filing systems, document and enhance operational processes, procure supplies, and uphold historical records.
• Accounts Payable: Code and process invoices for payment. Manage client invoicing. Oversee Accounts Receivable: generate statements and follow up on outstanding invoices as needed.
• Project Management: Set up projects in Ajera software; provide assistance to managers as required. Conduct monthly reconciliations and reporting to the accounting firm. Process payroll hours for the accounting firm. Generate internal reports for management. Maintain records of employee vacation and sick leave accruals. Facilitate onboarding for new employees. Manage insurance documentation for clients and subcontractors. Support annual audits for insurance and assist with health/dental/vision insurance renewals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient understanding of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and practices. Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to take initiative, self-motivate, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Capable of mastering the fundamental functions of Ajera software. Comfortable in a dynamic work environment and meeting deadlines. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Experience and Education:

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a private sector accounting role is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
