Accounting Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team at Jobot. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operations of the accounting department, including overseeing daily operations, implementing internal controls, ensuring financial reporting deadlines are met, and coordinating tax schedules and returns.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient and effective management of financial processes.
2. Implement and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, both internal and external, and coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
4. Coordinate and/or prepare tax schedules, returns, and information, and manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
5. Implement and monitor the company's financial policies and procedures, and review and analyze financial data for strategic decision-making purposes.
6. Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to develop their skills and effectiveness, and coordinate activities with external auditors.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA certification a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, with strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Proficiency in banking and financial software systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
5. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
