Educational Background:

B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.


Professional Experience:
  • Over 15 years of experience in developing web and Windows desktop applications.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Web UI technologies (e.g., CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax), including writing test cases with high code coverage and automating UI changes through frameworks such as Selenium.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and mentoring junior software engineers.

Technical Expertise:

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Domain Driven Design and application via modern microservice architecture.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, along with code review and acceptance processes to enhance code quality.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies.
  • Proficient in TFS, AzureDevOps, Visual Studio 2017 or 2019, and Git repositories.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes orchestration).
  • Understanding of cloud architectures and services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Additionally, candidates should possess a solid understanding of security challenges and defensive programming techniques, as well as the ability to translate written requirements into technical design specifications.


Certifications:

AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure certifications are preferred.


Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to tackle practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Capable of interpreting instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve objectives.
