Job Overview

The Bowa Group Inc is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations during the construction phase, maintaining project timelines, and assisting with all aspects of project management.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About The Job
  • Assist in managing the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the project team in tasks ranging from cost control to scheduling, estimating, document control, and more.
  • Manage and distribute all preliminary project documents, including drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Solicit bids/quotes, perform estimates, takeoffs, and prepare budgeting estimates, change orders, and quantities for materials and labor.
  • Prepare, update, and manage project schedules and 'look-ahead' schedules, tracking project timelines and supporting near-term project activities.

You will work closely with the project manager to ensure successful project delivery and meet client expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction management or project engineering with a general contracting firm.
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Knowledge of construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with the project team, clients, and external stakeholders.
