Job Overview

The Financial Project Coordinator performs the overall job accounting functions and acts as Accounting's liaison between Clune Project Management and external parties to ensure timely and accurate completion of Clune projects. This individual also ensures that Project Accounting practices are in line with accounting and industry standards, contractual obligations, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall job accounting function from the beginning to end of a project including setup, maintenance, coding, and auditing of job billings.
  • Work closely with project managers, vendors/subs, and other parties to ensure timely and accurate process of job accounting functions.
  • Communicate with external clients to help manage timely job funding, subcontractor payments, and ensure timely responses to job inquiries.
  • Track, manage, and report on receivables to assist with AR payment applications and weekly cash flow forecasts for assigned jobs.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of 2-3 years education and experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience with electronic vendor invoice workflows and electronic filing systems preferred.
  • Experience in CMiC or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Project Accounting.

Compensation

$65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
