Program Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our team at Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing the program content of Phase I. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and plan program content for Phase I, including facilitating community meetings and obtaining outside speakers for open classes
* Supervise the Motivational Track Coordinator and provide consultation regarding MT Program content
* Provide assistance and consultation regarding Phase II Program content
* Supervise Assistant Staff and volunteers, develop orientation to role, performance guidelines and contracts, and oversee job responsibilities
* Teach open classes and collaborate with other Program Coordinators/Case Managers in program development and client consultation
* Serve as a member of the Management Team, creating and maintaining a consistent and nurturing environment for all clients
* Participate in treatment team discussion and perform responsibilities and tasks of the Program Director in their absence
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; college experience or CADC preferred
* Work experience may substitute for college degree
* Familiarity with women's issues and chemical dependency treatment preferred
* Ability to exercise good judgment, tact, diplomacy, and compassion when problem-solving, handling conflict, or in a crisis situation
* Ability to organize, plan, and schedule to accomplish work objectives, manage time and resources effectively, and develop, implement, and execute realistic action plans
Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate to loud noise level. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include the ability to reach, push, pull, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds. A valid driver's license, safe driving record, and minimum vehicle insurance required for job performance.
Additional Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to participate in yearly trainings regarding infection control and safety in the environment, including hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens. They will also be required to be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation within one month of employment and maintain the certification if providing direct care.
