Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at JBL Asset Management LLC. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our asset management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial real estate holdings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable: Receive and deposit tenant checks, post deposits to tenants' accounts, and review aging and rent rolls.
  • Accounts Payable: Review and input invoices, cut checks, and process vendor payments.
  • Financials/GL: Review and complete monthly reports, send quarterly reports to lenders, and complete cash flow reports.
  • Miscellaneous: Run aging reports, review and input reconciliations, and set up new properties in the accounting software.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of property accounting experience.
  • 2 years of supervision experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of CTI/CAM Reconciliations, monthly report review, accrual/cash basis, and cash flow analysis.
  • Assist with projections on all properties and oversee delinquencies.
