Patient Service Representative DMC Sports Medicine Dearborn

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at DMC Sports Medicine in Dearborn. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent patient service and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Manage front office operations, including scheduling, registration, and billing
- Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and balances
- Assist with referral processing and scheduling
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers via phone and in person
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Completion of medical office assistant program
- Healthcare management/administration certification
