KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Work closely with inventory management to maintain organized product displays.
- Utilize the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary, fulfillment areas, and product storage.
- Educate customers on the safe and effective use of cannabis products.
- Accurately weigh, package, and label cannabis items as necessary.
- Efficiently handle pre-orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Conduct inventory checks to guarantee adequate stock levels.
- Prioritize the safety and satisfaction of both patients and staff.
- Welcome patients with a friendly demeanor.
- Stay informed about product offerings and industry trends.
- Continuously update knowledge regarding current medical cannabis laws and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in a dispensary or cannabis production environment is preferred.
A minimum of 1-2 years in customer service is required.
SKILLS:
- Ability to address patient inquiries regarding various cannabis strains and their medicinal applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent cash handling skills.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Capability to represent The Cannabist brand effectively.
- Outstanding customer service aptitude.
- Ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks.
- Ability to stand, move, and sit for prolonged periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to open and close doors weighing up to 20 lbs.
