This role requires you to manage a portfolio of mid-sized events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

40% - Technical Proficiency - You will be responsible for the setup, troubleshooting, and deployment of onsite registration systems and ancillary services. Utilize enterprise systems to maintain critical databases, design user-friendly registration processes, and conduct thorough technical evaluations of systems before they go live. While on-site, you will manage equipment inventory, supervise setup schedules, provide training on systems, and monitor service effectiveness.

30% - Onsite Coordination & Implementation - You will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of mid-sized events, specifically focusing on registration systems and ancillary services. This involves collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the successful development and execution of onsite strategies. You will provide insights from an onsite perspective throughout the planning phase and oversee the team during event execution, addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, you will document system performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.

30% - Onsite Team & Client Support - Build and nurture relationships with event organizers and vendors throughout the planning and execution phases, offering expert guidance on registration systems and ancillary services. You will also mentor junior team members through hands-on training and support.

Qualifications

1. A college degree or equivalent technical certification is required.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, encompassing all facets of process development and execution is essential. Familiarity with Maritz's onsite offerings is preferred.

3. Demonstrated proficiency in technology, including hardware, software, networking, and data management.

4. A strong track record of exceptional customer service skills.

5. Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.

6. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

7. Ability to consistently lift up to 30 pounds.

8. Significant travel is required: expect to spend up to 50% of your time traveling or working on location at events.
