Under the direction of the Hospital Manager or Field Manager, with support from the Medical Director, the Technical Supervisor performs a wide range of administrative activities related to hospitals providing quality patient care and excellent client service, financial management, marketing and promotion of services, staffing and personnel operations, and discretionary activities that support effective business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate patient care techniques, including basic pet care, surgical assisting, monitoring anesthesia, and managing controlled substances.
- Develop and implement staff schedules, and foster an environment of continued development and learning.
- Perform administrative tasks, including financial management, marketing, and promotion of services.
- Manage staffing and personnel operations, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement business strategies to support effective operations and growth.
- High School Diploma.
- Certified or Registered Technician status or equivalent practice experience of at least 5 years.
- Strong medical skills and knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and deal with high levels of stress in a fast-paced environment.
