Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional leadership for the electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Guide and mentor team members, creating tailored development plans to enhance their professional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of quality assurance and quality control throughout all engineering processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of electrical systems for a variety of projects, including healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
  • Participate in regional leadership initiatives, organizing discipline meetings and contributing to strategic goals.
  • Utilize the Labor Forecast Tool to effectively manage regional workload and resource distribution.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts, guiding engineers in their career paths.
  • Implement and uphold technical standards within the office, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify training opportunities and recommend professional development for staff.
  • Act as a technical resource for claims and issues arising within the region.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP engineering, focusing on infrastructure and building systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Proven experience in staff management and mentorship.
  • Strong background in sustainable design practices.
  • Expertise in REVIT software is essential.
  • LEED AP BD+C and WELL certifications are advantageous.
