Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Sustaining Engineering Lead with proven experience to sustain and maintain existing products.

You will engage in a collaborative, rapidly-changing environment to design and support groundbreaking new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain product releases, including documentation and test setups.
  • Point of contact for manufacturing in case of issues with released products.
  • Overall responsible for factory test deployment and maintenance.
  • Participate in product readiness reviews to ensure complete and sustainable releases.
  • Approving alternate part requests for released products.
  • Accurate design loading in SAP, including BOM generation for legacy products and new top-level part numbers.
  • Sign off on engineering change requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 0-3-year experience as an engineer.
  • Experience with printed circuit board schematics and layout.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA and tools (ISE / Vivado).
  • Experience with C / C++, Windows, and Linux.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a hands-on leader, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask. Coupled with strong analytical ability, attention to detail will be instrumental to success.
Skills & Competencies:
  • FPGA Design experience in Verilog or VHDL.
  • Prior experience using Mentor Graphics Schematic Capture and Layout tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging hardware.
  • Experience using Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience with low-level software development (C/C++ preferred).
  • Familiar with standard lab debug tools (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, multi-meter, etc.).
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
