We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our Division Supply Chain team at Sonoco. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our board mill maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Order Management: Receive and enter customer orders, change orders, and credit orders for finished goods into our ERP system.
- Order Release and Coordination: Manage customer order releases, interacting with plant production control personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between plant operations and customer operations, addressing daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and associated issues.
- Forecasting and Planning: Maintain accurate and timely online customer forecasts, which serve as the basis for our planning and control cycle.
- Inventory Management: Identify, dispose of, and follow up on slow-moving, aged, and surplus inventories.
- Communication and Collaboration: Participate in customer conference calls and visits to establish and enhance customer communications, working closely with various disciplines within the supply chain.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, with 3+ years of experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, accuracy working with numbers, proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and experience with ERP systems.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a team environment, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and act professionally with integrity.
- Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary range from $56,550 to $67,860.
