We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at a reputable academic center in Plano and Dallas, Texas. As a Pediatric Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work independently and be treated with respect in a culture that values APPs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, treat, educate, consult, and conduct care coordination as a first-line provider to Trauma, Neurosurgery, Solid Organ Transplant, Medical, Surgical, and ECMO patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care.
- Acute Care Certification
- One year of pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in PICU, ICU, or ER preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
