We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Operations Technician to become a part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Engaging in harvest operations including preparation, seed sampling, and unloading of trucks.
  • Carrying out various tasks related to plant, field, and warehouse operations that adapt with seasonal changes.
  • Diligently monitoring automated machinery for processes like harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packaging.
  • Participating in production tasks such as seed conditioning, treating, and packaging.
  • Handling product returns and sorting activities efficiently.
  • Conducting field activities including scouting, inspections, and logistics management.
  • Utilizing automation and computerized systems for task execution.
  • Performing warehouse duties such as operating forklifts, collecting samples, and other related responsibilities.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma/GED is required, or the willingness to obtain a GED within a year of employment.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing and working in elevated areas, and lifting up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Flexibility to learn and work across various areas such as field, plant, and warehouse.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with technology and good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • A valid US Driver's License is required.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, during peak production times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, or agriculture is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • General knowledge of agricultural equipment.
Work Environment

Note: This position is site-specific and requires on-site presence at a Corteva location.
