Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the group as an operational unit and ensure the accomplishment of company goals and targets.
  • Implement and maintain manufacturing standards and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to Team Leaders and Team Members.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum two years of previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred with parts production, quality, or production control experience a plus.
  • Experience in automotive interiors including carpets, filters, powertrain, seating, and/or trim preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with training and development programs.
Work Environment

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time throughout the plant. Occasionally climbing, stooping, or bending on, under, or near tooling and equipment may be required. May be occasionally required to reach, grasp, and manipulate parts, materials, or equipment. May be occasionally required to lift up to 30-50 pounds (with or without assistance).
