About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Security Officer to join our team at ClevelCrossing - Jobboard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global security strategy to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of our employees, assets, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Global Security Strategy: Identify and anticipate areas of risk, and develop a comprehensive global security strategy to mitigate those risks.
  • Lead Global Security Organization: Lead a global security organization composed of security professionals, located in various global offices.
  • Threat Intelligence and Risk Assessment: Gather credible threat intelligence and risks to the company to directly support risk-based decision making and/or develop mitigation or resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Provide a high level of integrated, sophisticated security and threat analysis and advise senior leadership on such matters.
  • Security Initiatives and Policies: Lead the development of security initiatives and policies to mitigate risks to the organization, its brands, and reputation as the result of adverse incidents.
  • Information Security and Privacy: Provide strategic security oversight for information security and privacy.
  • Crisis Management Planning: Lead crisis management planning and actively partner with Enterprise Business Resilience planning team.
  • Executive and Talent Protection: Oversee executive and talent protection as well as travel, production, news, sports, and event security.
  • Threat Mitigation and Analysis: Assess, evaluate, and synthesize a large volume of information/intelligence and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Security Influence and Leadership: Escalate the profile of security in media and entertainment-focused businesses through influence and personal leadership.
  • Employee Safety and Asset Protection: Identify and mitigate threats to the safety of employees, physical, logical, and intellectual assets for the company's global operations.
Requirements
  • Global Security Experience: Prior experience and demonstrated success in global security-related issues is key.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: A collaborative outlook and a proven track record as a team player, business partner, and leadership resource.
  • Strategic Security Analysis: Ability to provide a high level of integrated, sophisticated security and threat analysis and advice to senior leadership in a concise manner.
  • Influencing and Communication: Exceptional influencing skills and preferred experience working across many areas and organizational levels.
  • Complex Organizational Landscape: Ability to navigate a complex, global organizational landscape with the ability to manage through influence rather than control.
  • Information Security Understanding: Strong understanding of information security.
  • Management and Strategic Skills: Highly organized and very strong management and strategic skills.
  • Government Relationships: Excellent relationships with government officials to coordinate with federal, international, and local law enforcement and intelligence authorities to ensure a proactive posture against activities that might compromise or disrupt business operations in a global enterprise.
