Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting residential and commercial properties against theft, vandalism, fire, and other potential threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and patrol commercial and residential properties to prevent theft and unauthorized access
  • Monitor and control access to sites, including granting authorized visitors access and preventing unauthorized persons from accessing the site
  • Provide directions to visitors and/or the public
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and document any property damage
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and scan points around the site to prevent property damage and identify potential safety hazards
  • Watch for suspicious activity and/or unsafe conditions and report them immediately to your supervisor

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have prior security experience or be willing to undergo training
  • Must have a working smartphone
