Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Methodist Family Health. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide essential support to clients and their families, working collaboratively with a network of providers to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in client treatment planning and implementation, providing individualized interventions to address mental and behavioral health concerns.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote client well-being.
  • Document client interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a minimum of 60 hours of college education in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be physically capable of performing job duties, including sitting for extended periods and walking/standing as needed.
  • Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification as a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional.
  • COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination are mandatory for all employees.
