Clinical Laboratory Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient results, and providing consultative services to the medical staff.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage laboratory staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with the medical staff to provide consultative services and ensure that laboratory results are accurate and reliable.
- Oversee the technical and fiscal management of the laboratory, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure that laboratory policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the laboratory has the necessary equipment and supplies to perform its duties effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory technologies and techniques, and implement new procedures and protocols as needed.
- Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Valid General Supervisor license from the State of Nevada or eligibility to work while pending.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory supervisory experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed.
