Froedtert Health is currently in search of a travel Multi-Modality Technologist for an exciting opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: Multi-Modality Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Weekly Hours: 35 hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of a radiologist and/or other healthcare providers, prepare patients and perform imaging procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment while adhering to specific guidelines and protocols, ensuring appropriate radiation protection measures are in place.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as needed.
- Work in two or more of the following modalities: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: One year of current clinical experience in each modality.
- Preferred: Additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Required: Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Required: ARRT registration and a current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
- Required: Registration by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer.
- Required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an equivalent certification.
