As a skilled Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images. Under the direction of radiologists and other healthcare providers, you will adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives. Your positive interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff will be essential in providing a seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, X-ray machines, and mammography units, to produce high-quality images
- Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols, utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards and regulations
- Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current clinical experience in multiple imaging modalities, including CT, diagnostic X-ray, and mammography
- ARRT registration and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer
- Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
