Imaging Technologist

As a skilled Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients, performing imaging procedures, and operating imaging equipment. Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, you will adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives. Your positive and effective interaction with patients, visitors, and staff will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment
- Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols
- Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures
- Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives
- Provide positive and effective interaction with patients, visitors, and staff
- Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Technologist with a strong background in radiologic technology. The ideal candidate will have:
- One year of current clinical experience in each modality
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer
- Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 months of hire/transfer
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
