Position Overview
The primary role of the Senior Credit Risk Analyst is to evaluate and analyze various proposals from the Global Structured Credit and Solutions (GSCS) division, focusing on credit risk implications. These proposals may encompass CLO warehouse/lending facilities, capital call facilities, and ABS warehouse/lending facilities, among others. This position is integral to the Natixis Credit Risk Financial Institutions Group (FIG).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations and risk assessments, concentrating on structured credit and securitized product proposals.
- Engage in due diligence calls or site visits as necessary, representing the bank with professionalism.
- Draft comprehensive risk opinions and analyses, effectively communicating the rationale behind each risk assessment.
- Collaborate with bankers and originators to ensure timely closings while maintaining high standards of credit analysis.
- Review transaction documents and critically assess the Front Office's analyses when warranted.
- Present findings to senior management and credit committees.
- Monitor the existing GSCS portfolio and ensure compliance with covenants, keeping an eye on early warning signs of credit risk deterioration.
- Stay informed about industry trends and macroeconomic factors that may influence the portfolio, recommending adjustments or actions for specific clients or client groups as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a Graduate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, particularly in the analysis of structured products and securitizations.
- Experience with various financial institutions and entities, such as banks, private equity funds, hedge funds, regulated funds, insurance companies, and broker/dealers, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with credit risk monitoring systems and methodologies is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to think critically and evaluate various hypothetical scenarios is important.

Compensation
The salary range for the Senior Credit Risk Analyst position is between $190,000 - $225,000, while the Lead Credit Risk Strategist position ranges from $230,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, applicable licensure, and organizational needs. This base salary is part of a comprehensive rewards package that includes a generous benefits offering.
