About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Gilbane Building Company. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform self-perform estimating for various trades, including carpentry, concrete, and general requirements
  • Conduct on-screen plan takeoffs and review project specifications
  • Obtain vendor quotes and provide change order pricing to project management
  • Analyze project results and identify methods for future estimating improvement
  • Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for projects from inception to completion
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in self-perform estimating
  • Knowledge of site work software tools, Procore, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Gilbane offers a competitive salary range of $76,000 to $122,000, depending on location and experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and welfare benefits, a generous profit-sharing/401k plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
